About this event
For the first time in his career, playback singer Vinod Rathod steps onto an Australian stage. Over three decades he has voiced some of Hindi cinema's most-played songs, and on 14 November he performs them live in Western Sydney, backed by a full band.
This is a seated theatre-style concert built for families — the songs your parents danced to, the songs you grew up hearing in the car, sung by the voice that recorded them.
Doors open at 6:00 PM and the show runs from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Come early: the foyer opens with live music, and food stalls run right through the evening.

Practical information
- Parking
- Free on-site parking at The Regency, plus street parking on George Young Street. Arrive by 6:15 PM on a Saturday night — Auburn fills up fast.
- Getting there
- Auburn station is a 10-minute walk. The 907 and 909 bus routes stop within 500 metres.
- Food and drink
- Indian food stalls operate in the foyer from 6:00 PM. Cash and card accepted. Outside food and drink may not be brought into the venue.
- Accessibility
- Step-free entry, accessible toilets, and wheelchair spaces in the reserved seating rows. Contact us before booking so we can allocate you a suitable seat.
- Children
- Children under 3 enter free when seated on a parent's lap. All other children require a ticket.
- Entry times
- Doors 6:00 PM. Show starts 7:00 PM sharp and finishes at 10:00 PM. Latecomers are seated between songs.
- Alcohol
- The Regency is not licensed. Alcohol is not sold at the venue and may not be brought in. Soft drinks, chai and coffee are available.
